What’s your home worth? Are you thinking of selling your home or interested in learning about home prices in your neighborhood? We can help you. Discover Market Value
Are you considering buying your first home? Purchasing a house is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming if you’re unsure where to start. If you’re feeling a little anxious, don’t worry. Today, I’m going over a few of the first steps you should take to become a homeowner:
1. Consult a real estate agent. The first step in building your dream home is to consult with a real estate agent. A reliable agent will help you understand the overall process and prepare you for the journey ahead. Ensure that you specify your needs, goals, or other concerns, because every situation is unique. An agent will also provide valuable insights and answer any initial questions you may have.
2. Determine your buying power. It’s best to consult a lender to discuss the specifics of securing a construction loan and to find out your buying power. It’s also important that you have at least two years of work history or income tax return, if possible. However, if you have a professional employment contract agreement with your employer, some lenders will consider your buying power even without a two-year work history.
We hope you find these tips helpful. If you have any questions or if you’re planning to buy your first home, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at (318) 794-6769. We’re here to assist you with every step to ensure you buy your dream home without stress. We look forward to working with you!
